Another day another run, but not any run! the last big training run before the the GNR! yeahy! Me and Gill had a good run this morning, a steady 7 miles and we finished feeling good! Felt quite comfortable and neither of us had any pains in legs which was excellent! Home now for more stretching, icing and possibly some eating!!!
We are going to do a couple of small steady runs next week and a sports massage Wednesday, so should be super fit for the run Sunday!

Well done Kate, all down hill from here! Have a nice restful week, maybe just a few gentle jogs just to stay loose and enjoy your taper. Dont forget to keep eating the extra calories though, you can disguise them as carbo loading! Have a fantastic day on Sunday, enjoy the race and be justifiably proud of yourself when you cross the line.

Just a quick note to say thank you for all your support over the past 12 weeks! I would not have put in half as many miles if it hadn't been for you dragging me outside in the rain or blazing sunshine! You've been a brilliant training partner - can't wait to complete the run with you on Sunday! Let's do 2 hours!!!
